- 1) How much is a gallon? A gallon holds 16 cups of potpourri. Just like measuring a cup of sugar, a cup of potpourri fills a one-cup measuring cup. A gallon of potpourri will fill 8 of the 2-cup bags, or 4 of the 4-cup window bags.
- 2) How strong is the scent and how long does it last? Keep in mind that potpourri adds a hint of fragrance to a room. It's primary purpose is to add visual punch and color. The fragrance should last up to eight weeks. To refreshen the scent, simply spritz with a small amount of our matching fragrance oil and stir.
- 3) What is your wholesale price? Our website is wholesale only. The prices on the website are our wholesale prices.
- 4) Do you give a discount for volume orders? Yes. To get volume pricing, you must order in quantities of 25 gallons per blend. Additional discounts are given for 50, 75, and 100 gallons or more.
- 5) What is the difference between the potpourri blends and the sachet blends? Our potpourri blends contain larger pieces to fill displays. Our sachet blends contain smaller pieces to fill sachet bags. If your intent is to use the blend in small, sachet type bags, be sure to order our sachet blends. The potpourri blends are too bulky.
- 6) How many sachet will I get out of your 12 cup sachet blends? That is going to depend on the size of the sachet bags you are using. A simply way to measure is to fill your sachet bag with rice to the desired fullness, then pour the rice from the sachet bag in to a measuring cup to see how much is holds. If you bag holds 1/3 cup of rice, it will take 1/3 cup of the sachet blend to fill and therefore, you would get 36 sachets filled with one 12 cup sachet blend.
